Hard disk hell #2...

Well wouldn't you know it!
Our holiday home farmhouse owner up north also hada hard disk failure a couple of days ago on his server. Only difference - he hadn't backed up! So he had lost ALL the reservation info for the cottage!

Thankfully, the disk arrived today, and was mounted in my IDE drive adaptor, and then with some magic software, I managed to recover the missing data.

But please don't be fulled - I can't get it back every time.

He was very relieved!

Maybe I should have told him it was lost...and band 2 could have had every other weekend up north holidaying?

Got my laptop up and running with a new drive, and started re-installing and recovering data from backups.

At least I will have a nice fresh install.

Today was working on new product brochures. The marketing dept decided to change all our product names into a family. So all the brochures need updated! Thanks.
