Old BEEB and New HP

While sorting out the loft today Gofer came across our first computer which my brother-in-law R had given to the children many moons ago. We had great fun on it playing ‘candy floss’ and frogs crossing rivers avoiding crocodiles. J, our eldest really got the bug and I think learnt his first bit of programming on it. I thought we had given it away but there it was. Particularly poignant as R died just over a year ago and I have been setting up one of his computers which I have now inherited. Thank You R. You were always there when I needed help sorting out a computer problem but I am having to do it on my own now.

I took a photo of the BEEB to send to the boys and then Gofer put it back in the loft. Later I saw the Old and New mono challenge. Rather than get the BEEB down again I thought I would combine two photos to show the computers.
