Red Chestnut Tree Flowers

Before walking the dogs early this morning I side-tracked to Pollard Park to photograph some of the magnificent trees. The Red Chestnut trees on the golf course in the park are in flower at the moment.
Until I started Blipping I never looked closely at the flowers and blossoms on many trees. Blipping has made me so much more observant of the world around me and for that I am grateful. I am amazed at the beauty of these trusses of flowers on the Red Chestnut tree. The detail is quite intricate and the colours almost larger than life.
