Kate Hopewell-Smith

Spent the day on a lighting workshop with Kate Hopewell-Smith (one of my favourite photographers). Very technical, very good. The aim of this shot was to use bounced, fill-in flash that looked so subtle you didn't know it was there, and also to keep the ambient light coming from that small lamp. KHS is a brilliant teacher!
