Cold and frosty

Our first frost in our new home and Monty's first experience of rolling around in a frosty field. While rolling in the snow may be something humans do, it seems that dogs just like to roll!

This was the same spot as a couple of weeks ago, however since then it's been drilled, germinated and is now three inches tall! I think it was less than 7 days between drilling and emergence.

All I can say is Mother Nature is brill, although I think some seed care technology is giving her a helping hand here.
