Clinging on

Beautiful sunshine and quite still, although I can see the cold front heading towards us from the north.

This is the first thing I see when I open the bedroom curtains in the morning, just not that close. I love the texture of the trunk, particularly when it's wet. The leaves are hanging on to this, a lime tree, and the field maple behind it, but a few frosts will sort them out and then we'll have more of a view.

Rheumatologist this afternoon and hopefully I will be closer to knowing what they can do for my osteoporosis.
