through the Cloister railings. Took this just before meeting a friend for coffee. Or rather, for unadventurous green tea for her, peppermint tea for me. We were recently introduced to each other by a mutual friend via email, because we share a similar meditation practice and each lead a group, and this was our first meeting. And what a delightful blessing it turned out to be. So many things in common, including our spiritual journey to date. Not only that but we are both living with the ongoing awareness and pacing necessary after years of debilitating M.E. Both much better now but still having to be careful.

These serendipitous meetings do not happen very often, at least not to me. I am very thankful.
