Amanita in the Cemetery

The Town Clerk told me there were Amanita in Shepshed Cemetery, so Basil and I went looking for them this morning. Fortunately, we turned in the right direction when we entered.

Up near the boundary with the old railway line, we found these two Amanita toadstools. Dew was still heavy on the ground even just after 11 am. Here you can see both the top of the Amanita, and the gills on the underside of the fallen one.
