The poppy plantation project at the Tower of London is an astonishing sight. One hand made ceramic poppy for each British dead in the Great War. It takes your breath away.

You have probably read that it is packing in the crowds. I went yesterday evening and it was 10 deep and I could hardly see the poppies all round the moat. So I went past again today and it was easier to get a good view.
