Flare

Not the usual sunset along the Forth. The reflection comes from a large flare from one of Grangemouth's chimneys. It appeared after a rather disconcerting boom at lunchtime today. Oh the joys of living so close to an oil refinery. We are used to flares and all sorts of strange noises emanating from the complex and usually don't give them much thought but today I was reminded that it's just a few miles away.
