Learning Curve
Today’s journey takes me back to a time when I went for an interview at Leicester University’s Attenborough tower. This building is quite unique in that it still houses one of the few surviving paternosters in the country. Coordination not being my strongest point, I stood transfixed wondering how the hell I was going to get aboard. Finally, after watching it go round for the zillionth time, I plucked up enough courage to leap into its gaping mouth only to misjudge it by a split second (or an inch or two) resulting in me sort of catapulting headlong into it. Not the most dignified start to my day. Anyway hope you enjoyed reading my little blip and here is a picture of the lovely tower :)
