Floating Rock
Today Mariah and i ended up at the Duck Pond to take pictures for our photography class which we found to be completely frozen, almost to the point the water couldn't move. However, towards the edge of the pond the water was not quite frozen all the way through. Under a thin layer of water was a transparent sheet of ice making it impossible to get to the dirt underneath without breaking the fragile ice. I set the rock on this part of the ice, with the sun hitting it at a nice angle, the shadow cast made the rock look like it is floating in most of my snapshots.
