Spider Under Glass
We have lived here in E. Tennessee for 16 years, and yet every year without fail we come across a new critter or two, of some sort or another, that we've not seen before. I caught this little guy last Friday evening and kept him in a jar until I had time to set up his photo shoot.
He was not very cooperative, and had to be re-caught several times as he scampered off the set. Finally, because he could not get a good enough foot hold on the glass to make a rapid great escape, I turned the little jelly jar on it's side and shot him inside the jar, which actually turned out to be an interesting background, I thought.
For his trouble, I rewarded him with his freedom out in the garden.
