Afternoon tea

On Sunday I received a text from an old colleague (and friend) who invited me over for tea after school today. Not just a cuppa but a little birthday afternoon tea with homemade soup, homemade quiche and homemade flapjacks. All absolutely delicious and filling.

It was lovely to have a catch up with a lovely lady and very much appreciated after a couple of days where I have felt I have been chasing my tail.
