Desk

In almost three years of blipping, I have never taken the same image twice, but it gets harder and harder to find original views around the house. On a night like this an inside shot is definitely preferable. Then I thought about this partial view of the desk in our study. It is a wonderfully ornate work of art, made almost thirty years ago by my father. It has all sorts of special features and is too big to come into the house via the doors, so we had to take the picture window out of its frame and convey it in through the window. Needles-to-say, it's never going to leave the study!
