Down by the River

This morning Autumn finally arrived a cold foggy start to the day. I decided to take a detour down by the side of the river on the way to work and took this shot. I love the way the mist is resting on the cobwebs . At the weekend we enjoyed temperatures of 18 deg C this morning the frost warning light came on saying it was only 4 deg C what a sharp contrast.
Thankfully the sun did soon burn the fog off and things did improve a bit.
