A lunchtime walk in Iceland

We went with a guide to see Detifoss and Selfoss (North Vatnajokull National Park). We had to walk quite a long way across the snow to get there, but it was worth it, we were the only three people for miles and miles, no cars, no planes, no trains, no noise other than the crashing sound of the waterfall, and the beautiful midday sun over the water. I could have stayed there forever, it really took my breath away, the peace and beauty, but the sun was about to start going down, and the hot springs at Lake Myvatn were calling!
