Even across the evening skyline the wheels of industry are still turning. Not that it was evening...the evenings are drawing in and this was our walk home from school. A walk that I too, as a child used to take with my Mum. The name may have changed but the school is the same. Just a walk across the railway bridge from home and along the alley known to us as 'the brickles' through the falling autumn leaves. The trees are taller and there are far more houses along the way but in essence it's the same journey. Miniman went for his first gymnastics class this evening and was incredibly impressed with his attempt at a handstand (as was I)... He looked small from the viewing gallery and I felt his vulnerability as he struggled with the beam and the vault but he loved it all the same.
