Blip Kit

Day started at 05:30 up, showered, looked outside, misty but no rain, there was a lot in the night. Downstairs now, walking kit on boys out of bed, they are not very enthusiastic to start with but in a minute or so they are ready to go, grab torch and leads and out into the mist, still, damp and dawn is just breaking.

Following the road we live on for a few hundred metres and then off through a small wood and into a field still sporting the shaved remains of a crop of wheat. Very spooky now not much to see as visibility is down to ten metres, a telegraph pole appears out of the gloom and then finally the hedge on the far side slowly arrives. We turn right here and continue on for rest of our trip. Back at 06:45 and visibility now clearing fast.

Quick breakfast for all of us, including our Burmese cat, and off to work, just one day this week.

In all the rush forgot wallet, phone and camera. Took this in office on return home.
