Eaten Alive!
That's what is happening to this garden chair; it's being eaten alive by the Black-Eyed Susan in the pot next to it.
Sadly, just as soon as there is the first proper night-frost, old Suzie is going to die.
I plan to try to cut her back first (this is the best she has ever looked), and cover her up with some fleece to try and get her through the winter. In the past it has only ever worked if I save a couple of cuttings indoors, and plant them out again when the weather improves in Spring.
The chairs need to be washed down and taken inside too. Sadly, the garage is so full of absolute crap, and camping stuff which has never been properly packed up, that I doubt there is room to put more in there.
Why is it 'nagging' to mention many times that something needs to be done? If only things would get done when they were first mentioned, then by now we would be leaning back, congratulating ourselves on having achieved targets.
Oh dear. Living with other people is a constant compromise.
