Fun at the zoo

The zoo in Edinburgh is amazing for young and old.

The highlight was clearly the reaction from the monkeys when CJ put his own "Muz" (aka "Puddle" monkey) up to the window of their cage. These particular monkeys were highly intrigued as to who the newcomer to their patch was.

Another group of monkeys (ie a different breed) were totally freaked out and angry!

That is hardly the best photo ever, but trying to catch children and animals both moving at great speed is just a lucky dip! At least I have very clear memories of the surprised looks on CJ and on the monkeys faces!

The penguins were cute but wouldn't do their freedom walk today. The tiger looked serene.

It was all very clean and tidy and a great day out.

Meanwhile, in spite of all of the constant shrieks of excitement from his big bro', LJ just slept peacefully on!
