Time Together

Second try at posting this...

We're in Seattle tonight, breaking our long journey into two days. This enabled us to get together with my son W for dinner tonight, and the three of us enjoyed the offerings at Urbane restaurant, which, like many Seattle restaurants this month, is offering three-course dinners for $33, with several choices for each course.

As always, our conversations ranged widely, with local and national politics this Election Day acknowledged, but not applauded. It was lovely having time with W and talking about books and life in general, as well.

Tomorrow Phil and I are taking the light rail from downtown Seattle to the airport, a 40-minute trip, and by late afternoon our time, we'll be hugging my sister M outside the airport in Austin, Texas!
