Pimp my ride

This bicycle is one of the delivery bikes for the shop down the road. It's one of those blipbank images that sometimes sits exactly where I need it to and sometimes not. The first time I shot this bike was last week and since then it has procured new pedals and a padlock. Cyclists are treated like a sub-species in Maadi. Dare to get in the way of a car, and they are aggressively beeped at until they move out the way.

The same applies to pedestrians, and it drives me fucking nuts. Whenever I am beeped at now, I make eye-contact with the driver, put my forefinger to my lips and shoosh them. I do it with a slightly psychotic look too, just in case they're feeling brave in their little metal cubes and decide to test my patience further.

I'll no doubt get in trouble one of these days.
