The seventeenth century Roman Catholic seminary in the Braes of Glenlivet. The young men sent here to train for the priesthood at a time when Catholics were being killed must have thought they had gone to the ends of the earth and that's how it was today! The snow was right down on the Ladder Hills and the temperature about ten degrees colder than home. I headed back down from the remoteness and cold to the strath !
