Sundown on Coppidwell

It's bonfire night tonight so make sure you get all your animals in early. There will be lots of banging crashing & fizzing tonight all in celebration of a chap who tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in order to kill King James.

Did you know that Guy Fawkes was tried & found guilty of treason & was due to be hung drawn & quartered but committed suicide before sentence could be carried out. He died of a broken neck.....he obviously didn't fancy having his nuts chopped off in front of him before being split open & his guts spilled out in front of his fading eyes... 'nuf said !

Quiet day - feet still recovering from the weekend. Popped out to get some milk 1st thing & then this pm called around to N&R's to check on the progress of the flooring which is being laid whilst they are on honeymoon...lucky sods.

Colder day but fine, feels like a frost tonight.

Its 1645 & Merlot is in.
