Swan family

I'm not a big fan of snapping swans for blips.

However...

...I've followed this wee family since they were eggs. Most day I go and chat to them and feed them and watch them grow. When they see me coming along the bank they swim towards me to be fed. Some days I have no food for them.

At about six months mute swans chase away their young and, over the past week, I've seen signs of this beginning to happen.

Thought I'd better get a shot of them before they split for good :( I've enjoyed their company.

Mum and dad will start the whole process again next spring and cheer me up all over again!
