Evening light on the River Taw

Took a stroll along the Taw at sunset this evening. Saw flocks of Canada Geese settled on the high water enjoying the last light and feeding. There were egrets and gulls there as well - but the egrets were tetchy and flew off as soon as anyone got close. The sun set at about the same time as the high tide.
I loved the colour of the water - quite pink with the reflection of the houses opposite showing in the ripples.
