Worrying!

This great oak is on the lane up the hill where I usually walk.

It grows out of the bank and thus does not have a full circular root system - but so far it has survived the winds and rain. It will be a disaster should it ever fall as it is a wonderful landmark.

The photo is slightly blurred as Luce decided just as I took the shot to investigate a leaf and I did not realise until I got back by which time it was dark! Apologies....
