Spanish guns in Andalucia.....

Just noticed this on the Guardia Civil building in Montefrio. I assume the slits are for firing guns....wonder if it was from the Civil War times, or if the police still shot at people in Franco's time. Makes me realise what a trubulent recent history this country has
