Glorious autumn weather today. Wall to wall sun and blue sky and no breeze worth the name. We will pay for this tomorrow!
We picked up Isla this morning and took the Dynamic Duo/The Bookends off to Tillicoultry for their autumn haircuts. After a mooch round the local retail park we collected the two neatly trimmed pups and headed for home. We detoured into the farm/coffee shop at Blairlogie for some of their tasty sandwiches and fresh scones for lunch. What a treat!
Ali, Euan & Eve joined us for dinner and we ended up with the lights out and the blinds open watching for fireworks. We didn't see too many at that point but saw, and heard, some real beauties later when MaggieD and I went out for a walk. Rona stayed home for safety though she doesn't seem too bothered, a few of these bangs were pretty loud.
