Came home tonight to try and get a few things done. Stopped off on the way back to get a plunger and some drain unblocker. Seems that using the sink muncher for the first time in anger we have managed to block the sink.
Had a go at plunging the blockage with no joy so put the drain unblocker down the sink and left it overnight.
Spent the rest of the night finishing the curtain rain the spare room. Gave up trying to be clever and bending it around the front of the bay window.
Still in place now and should hold the curtains weight.
