Christmas cake time

Spoke to the estate agent today about the lack of viewings. Seems that it might be the time of year, but we will look a doing a few other things in a few weeks time.
Left work early and came back to tackle the house. Now the sink is working the washing up needed to be done. J is down in London so I also need to tidy up for the cleaner.
Dad had an op on his shoulder yesterday and he got out of hospital today. Spoke to him tonight and it seems to have gone well.
Looking at the calendar over the coming few weeks and we seem to be busy every weekend till Christmas nearly. As a result it looks like this Sunday afternoon will be the only time I get to make the Christmas cake.
As we are in November I’m allowed to get the Christmas recipe books out. Time to review that is needed for the Christmas cake so I can get the ingredients on Friday in the weekly shop.
