Empty plates

Mrs. P and I have enjoyed a fabulous 3 course dinner this evening in the newly branded college restaurant.

There is a pre - opening offer on so we took full advantage.

All of the food is prepared, cooked and served by students.

So you might forgive errors in service or presentation of tbe food.

There was no need for forgiveness: everything was perfect. The service was superb, the food was devine and the restaurant looks fabulous.

My Boss was also dining. At one point she disappeared into the kitchen......

Her official line tomorrow will inevitably be that she was congratulating the staff and students on a brilliant job: she is right to do so.

I'm sure she also helped herself to a second pudding though ☺. I know I would in her position ☺

After initially telling me I wouldn't be invited to the official opening in January, I pointed out that she would need a Master of Ceremonies.

In response to the comment that I "might be quite good", I said "I will be outstanding because it's all I know"
