Night at the Botanics

After dark, the lights all come on at The Botanic Gardens and people wander round ooh-ing and ahh-ing. Then, just as you are wandering towards the exit someone jumps out and says "Hi Susan!". The perils of being known in the events fraternity in Edinburgh!

Today is my birthday. Older than the Forth Road Bridge, younger than the Forth Bridge! Definitely beyond middle age. Of course, I hear that there are over 14,000 people who are 100+ in the UK now, so maybe just approaching middle age after all.

I chose the Botanics Walk and told the rest of the family not to moan TOO much as it was my birthday. They enjoyed the meal afterwards at the Kwei Lin. Delicious!
