Successful Learner

This is Orla's very first certificate from school, for being a Successful Learner in science. She was supposed to be awarded it at a special assembly in front of the whole school, but she was off sick, poor thing. We were so pleased when she showed it to us and she was dead chuffed with herself.

They are both still under the weather, but hopefully on the mend now. We had fireworks outside Gran and Papa's tonight. Conor wasn't a fan though, so I took him back inside. Orla and Ryan loved it, and it went some way towards Orla missing the organised fireworks last night. Maybe next year we can make more of an event of Bonfire Night!
