A declaration

I was passing Register House at the East End of Edinburgh 's Princes St this morning - in bright crisp sunshine I am glad to say - when I found myself walking alongside this declaration , chalked onto the pavement.

It made me pause from my commuting rush because I was impressed and moved . Others , I am glad to say , seemed similarly appreciative.
