Christmas come Early

A long slog of a day at work then a quick visit with my mum. We were too late for the fireworks though, seems they were all outside for that with hot chocolate and stovies laid on. Sorry I missed the stovies! Mum was in fine form as usual and put away some of the chocolates we brought her in good style. Also as usual!

Nipped up to her house on the way back to water the plants and found this Christmas cactus in full bloom. It obviously thrives on neglect.
