Low Winter Sun

I live in Deal, Kent and we have a wonderful beach and pier. I walk my two dogs along with my baby son in his backpack (well he's walking now, causing chaos out and about) to the beach almost daily and in February of this year we had some spectacular skys over the English Channel. I captured this picture with my iphone, which is always to hand. The colour of the sky framed with the silhouette of the pier and the random seagull captured my soul that morning. It was uplifting even though it was a cold morning. Each time I look at the photo it reminds me why I love the beach for its ever changing backdrop to my town.
