Entering Whitstable Harbour

As this came past we could green plastic sacks lined up on the deck and when we walked along to see them being unloaded realised the catchwas whelks. There is a long established firm which processes and sells them here on Whitstable harbour. The council wanted to replace these fishy activities with a supermarket on the site. They got short shrift from locals. The harbour as it is, asphalt factory and all is a big draw.
