Wintry walk to work

The winter boots came out this morning to get me to work and it has continued to snow all day. Even the ibex couldn't completely shelter from the snow.

The snow clearers had been busy: as well as the roads, the playground in the village school was cleared and the snowball fights had begun. Everyone is prepared and work carries on as normal (workmen on the roads, workmen laying cobbles, deliveries as usual........).

M and I are also prepared: we went to collect our new car today with 4x4 and winter tyres. I got the first test drive and played around in the uncleared snow on the ski car park next to our house. It does the job! Let's hope it does just as well as our 13 year old Yaris which has done us proud all these years.
