Frost

There was a heavy frost when I woke up this morning - the first one of the season - but the sky was blue and the sun was shining brightly. The warmth of the sun was raising mist from the frosty ground and creating beautiful shafts of light where the sun was shining through the trees.

The best scenes I saw were while driving and unable to stop and take a photo. However, once I reached my destination I did find this field still covered in frost.

A pity that the sky clouded over later.
