Mammatus clouds

A rather dismal day with rain this morning but quite a dark sky this afternoon. Spent the morning with Ali and Eve while Euan was at nursery.

Called in to see Lyall and Fifi this afternoon for a wee while. On the way there we saw these strange clouds in the sky. As an avid cloud spotter I recognised them as mammatus clouds....quite rare here.
