"In this day and age"

I heard some daft things on the radio today:
"They're like cattle trucks on wheels" - Nick 'Tautology' Clegg
"Our village has lots of gay children" - A lady listener
"I'd be so happy" - a mother who was asked how she'd feel if her 11 year old son was killed fighting the Jihad working for ISIS.
On a more positive note I was delighted to see these cyclists with not a stitch of dayglow yellow attire between them. God knows how they managed to stay alive without it.
