Chinese Dragon with Crystal Ball

The Chinese Dragon is one of the four benevolent animals in the Chinese culture. The other three are the Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. Contrary to the mythical Dragon of western cultures, which generally associate the Dragon with evil power, the Chinese Dragon is a splendid good willed creature. However, the appearance of the Dragon does not always bring good fortune to your door steps. If offended, the magical power of the Chinese Dragon can cause a widespread drought or an eclipse of the Sun. Because of this fear, the Chinese hold special festivals each year to honor it.
