Wet Blackbird

Today's the day ..................... to be lulled

After the gorgeous day that was yesterday, who would have thought that it could be followed by such a miserable one like today.

Mind you, it started off fine and dry. Lulled into a false sense of security, Will was up at the crack of dawn, painting the window sills of the house a lovely sort of mint green colour. By lunchtime, all he could do was look out the windows in dismay as most of the mint green was washed away by the force of the driving rain.

This blackbird didn't look all that chuffed either as it huddled in the same rain just below an equally miserable other half .............................
