Tiree

Well the light was good this morning and my email was down so I had to suffer for my art and went off and took a few pick (again on my flickr site) This is truly a beautiful island and I speak as a fellow Hebridean

I have to say Tiree airport security is very tight, now way were they going to let you leave their island with anything less than what you came with! "Please remove, buckels, braces and belts" what if your breeks were to fall down?
Take you laptop out of your rucksack, take your money (what little I had) out your pockets, take your shoes off, remember I slept with my clothes on including my socks so this one worried me just a little incase my socks should be a bit whiffy! After all that- they frisk you , honestly I had less bother at Glasgow airport! Once on the plane we forze almost to hypothermic level as there was no heat, the lady pilot , yes folks a woman driver, wore gloves the whole way across.
Managed to grab a shot or two befor e the clouds came.
A nice gentle landing though seeing the pilot madly pumping the brakes does somewhat loosen your bladder! however wa made it and off I came, I noticed too that if you now come off a plane and don't pick up any luggage a wee Glasgow airport security guy follows you till you leave the building. I suppose its ok to do whatever you like outside!

Grabbed a good Glasgow poke of chips and a bottle of ginger and felt 15 again. A few hours catching up then two more driving and I'm home! Whee
Got a big glass of Southern Comfort and thats me for the night. Tomorrow we go to Strathpeffer to a wedding!
