Remembrance

My dad sold poppies for the poppy appeal every year and raised phenomenal amounts of money in his retirement. If you ever bought one from a cheery old man just inside the doors of Lewis's in Leeds it was probably my dad.
I meanwhile have long had trouble with the way that increasingly war is glorified rather than sacrifice remembered. A white poppy does the trick for me. Sorry Dad x
