Utterly Uninspiring

If you think this photo is uninspiring and even depressing, you would be right, and I chose it to illustrate what most of this day has been like, and because wasn't in Sutton, don't feel I need to look on the bright side.

Went across Birmingham (that's the library in the middle left) to one day of a course on development run by our former Mission - perfectly adequate teaching on climbing the ladder - but no thought of whether the ladder might be against the wrong wall. In my opinion, of course. Glad we chose to go to only one day of it...

Other things to be glad about - our son-in-law came for dinner and is spending the night because in the morning, driving to Heathrow to pick up our daughter, her friend, and the most gorgeous baby in the world...
