Village in a hollow.

Yesterday CP left for work at ten to nine as usual on the three days a week that she works.

At lunch she will normally ring me, but when I received a call only a few minutes after she had left I was surprised to see that it was her calling me. She said "Quick, go to the hill overlooking Aston Cantlow, it looks gorgeous with sun shining on the taller buildings which are surfacing out of the morning mist.". "Ok" I said, "Thanks".

Grabbing my camera bag I jumped into my car and set off to where she had directed me, on arrival all the mist had gone and the sun disappeared behind a wall of low cloud. Disappointing.

This morning the sun was out in all its November fury, but with no mist apparent. Never mind I'll go and check yesterday's subject. On arrival there was some mist, not a layer of ground hugging vapour, but as you get in a sauna. Ok I thought, never mind, but out came the camera and off went the shutter.
