Fingerpointing
Yesterday's rain turned to snow...
This morning's walk in the woods was the very opposite of Tuesday's experience - just after I set out the sun burst through the clouds, the woods lit up and became a cheerful and friendly place again. This is one of the hidden ponds in the woods, off the trail. There's a beaver lodge just about visible top left. Plenty of signs of beaver activity, but no actual beavers. Perhaps they have turned in for the winter.
The elliptical trainer arrived today in a huge truck that the driver expertly backed up our driveway, threading through the new snow poles. The thing weighs in excess of 200lb, so we were rather surprised when a rather petite woman got out of the cab and proceeded to unload the crate. Mr L. spent the rest of the afternoon assembling the beast and it's almost ready to rock.
